摘要:
英汉习语承载着不同民族文化特色和文化信息。由于生活习俗、文化传统和宗教信仰等方面的差异,在跨文化交际中英汉习语语用失误是一个非常普遍的现象。基于实例分析,从文化维度分析习语语用失误产生的原因,并从教学视角探讨避免习语语用失误的方法。认为只有充分了解英汉习语所蕴含的文化渊源和特征,准确把握英汉习语的内涵,才能避免在跨文化交际中所发生的习语语用失误现象。
Abstract:
English and Chinese idioms carry cultural characteristics and cultural information of different peoples.Because of the differences in living customs,cultural traditions and religions,the pragmatic failure of idioms in cross-cultural communications is a very common phenomenon.Through case analysis,the paper explores the causes of the pragmatic failure of idioms from the perspective of culture,and attempts to offer some tentative solutions from the teaching perspective.This paper concludes that the accurate understanding of the cultural origin and characteristics of idioms and their pragmatic functions is a cure for the pragmatic failure of idioms in cross-cultural communications.
