摘要:
随着全球经济一体化,国际间的商贸活动往来日益频繁,商务英语翻译的重要性日益凸显。商务英语属于专门用途英语,涉及面宽泛,其称谓动态化,具有专业性强,语言规范,逻辑缜密,简明易懂,表达准确,沿用古体词和外来词等特点。阐述了尤金·奈达的"功能对等"翻译原则及其在商务英语翻译中的具体应用,认为在商务英语翻译中译者应做到原文与译文"最贴切、最自然"的对等。
Abstract:
With the integration of the global economy,the international business activities are increas-ingly frequent. The importance of business English translation has become increasingly prominent. Business English belongs to English for specific purposes,and involves a wide range of areas. Its name is dynamic,it has following characteristics:heavily professional style,standardized language, rigorous logic,straightforward language,accurate representation,using archaic words and foreign words. The paper describes the Eugene Nida’s“functional equivalence”principle of translation and its application to business English translation,and thinks that the translator should achieve“the most appropriate and natural equivalence”between the original and the translation in business English translation.
