一般文学翻译以"文化分析"为方法的思路是否适用于研究古希腊戏剧翻译值得商榷,因为古希腊戏剧翻译本身就是一种"文化分析"行为。"文化分析"的发生逻辑不同,决定了古希腊文学翻译的研究思路也就不同:以译者的主体意识为中心,从译者的创作目的(起因)、翻译时的文化阐释(过程)和为读者提供新认知的意旨(结果)来研究古希腊戏剧翻译同时也是一种"文化分析"的论述行为。
Abstract:
The idea taking “Cultural Analysis” as a method to study general literary translation is unfit for the study of Ancient Greek drama translation.Because the ancient Greek drama translation itself is a kind of behavior of “Cultural Analysis”,and the different logic of “Cultural Analysis” determines the different research thinking of the ancient Greek literary translation.The study of ancient Greek drama translation as a behavior of “Cultural Analysis” should take the translator's subjectivity as its center,and starting from the author's creation purpose,focusing on the translation as a process of cultural interpretation,and aiming at providing new recognition for the readers.
