摘要:
大学英语教学的重心由传统的普通用途英语(EGP)逐渐向专门用途英语(ESP)转移已成为时代的要求。一般来说,地方院校的人才培养目标应定位于培养应用型人才。结合地方本科院校的办学特点,挑选了三个有明显特征的地方本科院校作为调查对象,就大学英语教学情况进行了调查,了解其目前存在的问题,分析其原因,并提出建立围绕专业、突出应用、具有校本特色的地方本科院校的大学英语课程体系。
Abstract:
It is generally believed that pattern reform of college English has been successfully ended.It is time that the content of college English should be transferred from EGP to ESP.Generally speaking,aims of talent cultivation in local universities should be located in cultivating practical talents.In terms of different characters of local universities,the author chose three of them with typical characters as subjects for investigating,analyzing and concluding their existing problems in college English teaching.College English teaching systems with practical characters of local higher education institutions should be established.
