摘要:
从语言模因论的角度来看,汉语英源借词中完全写音类借词与其他类借词相比,具有强势模因潜势:其经济性表现为语素少、即时语境依赖性低和认知效果大; 默认语境凸显度高,表现为其表征的事物或事件对人类生活的影响深远; 受众对该类借词的高需求度,表现为语义缺省和受众自身的模仿天性; 汉语语言社会对该类借词的高容忍度,表现为国人的豁达心态和对新事物的宽容。这些优势使其成为汉语词汇的重要组成部分。
Abstract:
From the perspective of the linguistic memes,pure Chinese-character-trans-pronunciation words from English own more mighty memetic potentials,compared with other types of loan words.The small number of Chinese morphemes,the low dependency to the on-line context and the high cognitive effect contribute to the economy; the far-reaching influence of the background happenings result in the high salience of the default context; the semantic ellipses and the natural instinct of imitating of the audience lead to the high demand for this kind of loan words; the generous-mindedness and understanding to exotics illustrate the tolerance of the Chinese language society to these words.All the advantages above make pure Chinese-character-trans-pronunciation words from English an important part of the Chinese vocabulary.
