摘要:
跨文化交流过程中文化差异的实质在于思维方式的差异。由于语言与思维密不可分,“语言是‘纠缠着'精神的物质”,从语言学的视角研究不同民族之间思维方式的差异,从而进一步揭示不同的思维方式导致文化差异的理据性、必然性。通过英汉语言及英汉思维特点的对比研究,揭示语言与思维是如何相互影响、保持一致的,为洪堡特“每一语言里都包含着一种独特的世界观”提供实证研究的依据; 此外,通过英汉语言与思维所诞生的自然环境的对比研究,揭示英汉语言与英汉思维产生差异的根源,从而为洪堡特“语言、人、大地是不可分割的整体”的观点提供实证研究的依据,找到英汉文化差异的根源,从而更好地促进英汉跨文化交流。
Abstract:
The essence of the cultural difference in the process of cross-cultural communication lies in the difference of the way of thinking.Because language and thinking are indivisible and “language is a matter entangled with the spirit”,it is not only feasible but also scientific to explore the different thinking patterns of different nations from the perspective of linguistics,so as to further reveal the reasons of different cultures caused by different thinking patterns.A contrastive study of the characteristics of both English and Chinese languages and their respective thinking patterns can not only reveal how specifically language and thinking interact with each other,but also how they are highly consistent,so as to provide evidences for Humboldt's viewpoint of “every language contains a unique world outlook”.Moreover,through the contrastive study of the natural environment of the birth of English and Chinese languages and their respective thinking patterns,we can not only reveal the root causes of the differences between English and Chinese languages and their respective thinking patterns,so as to provides evidences for Humboldt's viewpoint that “languages,man and the earth are an indivisible whole”,we can also find out the root causes of differences between English and Chinese culture,so as to better promote cross-cultural communication between English and Chinese nations.
