摘要:
近年来国外有研究开始探索议程设置的第三层效果——网络议程设置,这一效果已得到初步证实。新模式认为媒体不仅能告诉我们“思考什么”以及“该怎样思考”,还能影响公众“联系什么以及怎样联系”。其测量方法——社会网络分析法不仅提供一个新角度来理解大众媒体影响公众“脑海中图景”的性质,还对整个议程设置研究提供了多元启发。通过对国外网络议程设置研究进展的梳理与未来研究方向的探讨,可以看出该模式的研究总体上尚处在起步阶段,研究边界需要扩展,亟需一个“无形学院”提供更多的角度和方法引起研究的扩散。这些都可以启发中国研究者借鉴这一新视角的研究方法与逻辑,挖掘本土问题和经验证据,以期与西方主流学术对话与沟通。
Abstract:
In recent years,foreign researches began to explore the third level of the agenda setting effect——the network agenda-setting,this effect has been preliminarily confirmed.The new model believes that the media can not only tell its readers “what to think about” and “how to think”,but can also affect what the public “connect” and “how to connect”.Its measuring technique——the method of social network analysis not only provides a new perspective to understand the nature of the public media's impact on the public's “mind picture”,but also provides multiple inspirations for the whole agenda setting research.Through combing overseas network agenda-setting research progress and exploring its future research direction,we can see the pattern of the overall study is still in its infancy,researchers need to expand boundaries,and an “invisible college” is needed to provide more angles and the methods for proliferation studies.These can inspire Chinese researchers to learn from this new perspective of research methods and logic,exploring local problems and empirical evidences,with a view to the mainstream academic dialogue and communication with the West.
