摘要:
《开明英文读本》作为民国时期风靡一时的英语教科书,其编撰特色值得总结。林语堂将外语直接法和意念法渗透在教科书的内容里。其采取多种操练形式,重视语言能力的提高; 选材广泛,中西文化荟萃; 在教科书中“中国元素”比比皆是,彰显出中国文化的自信; 英汉对比意识强烈,富含比较文学的意蕴。《开明英文读本》是一套将科学先进的外语教学法与中国实际成功相结合的教科书。
Abstract:
As a popular English textbook in the period of the Republic of China,Kaiming English Reader was worth summarizing.LIN Yutang penetrated the foreign language direct method and the notional method into the content of the textbook.This textbook took various forms of practice and attaches great importance to improvement of language ability,and it had a wide selection of materials and blended Chinese and Western cultures.“Chinese elements” abounded in the textbook,demonstrating the confidence of Chinese culture.There was a strong sense of contrast between English and Chinese in the textbook,which was rich in the connotation of comparative literature.Kaiming English Reader was a successful textbook which combined the scientific and advanced foreign language teaching method with the reality of China.
